Other jokes in this volume are less morally questionable

Hmm well dick jokes may be crude or lowbrow, but c'mon, morally questionable? That's pretty damn goofy.

I never laugh at male (or female) anatomy jokes...with the exception of Gintama =D I remember watching that Screwdriver Arc and laughing my a$$ off.

So Tegami Bachi 5 is where the first season of the anime concluded? Still a long way to go till the US release catches up to the manga chapters covered in season 2. I'm glad that Viz is speeding up the release of this series (along with a whole lot of other series).

It was a nice surprise to see a review of Burst Angel. As a fan of the anime, it was fun to read something that gave a little different spin on the characters and their interactions. It was also my first introduction into Tokyopop's experiment with cheaper paper stock. As you went from one volume to the next there was a noticeable change in paper quality.

And hey kids, the book's out of print now, go get it while you can!

Same here. Upping the yuri quotient was a nice bonus.

I already got the Japanese release before Tokyopop licensed it so I passed on getting the English version. TP's release might still be in stock locally, though.

I see that I wrote Kyo as the group's 'Chief', although technically he was their 'Chef', their cook rather than their leader. A minor but somewhat embarrassing typo on my part.

I have fallen in love with Twin Spica but sadly, my local library's budget only allowed for the purchase of the first four volumes. I read the 5th via interlibrary loan, but the 6th and 7th still elude me.

Also unfortunately I saw some spoilers about Marika that I shouldn't have, but I still want to read her story in context! Yagunima is really a fantastic author!

GINTAMA! It clicks, and the bathroom humor makes me feel like a twelve-year-old again, which isn't such a bad thing, really. Wink

The episode in which the Shinsengumi clean their restroom and attempt to find a way to keep it clean is one of my favorite stand-alone eps in the anime! Anime hyper

I never read/watched the screwdriver arc, though. I should really buy this, shouldn't I? Especially since...since Viz might stop releasing Gintama! Crying or Very sad

Oh, Viz, I want you guys to start releasing Sket Dance and Beezlebub! You can't give up on Shonen Jump gag/comedy manga yet! Say it isn't so!

Tegami Bachi sounds more & more intriguing with every review...

So, there's manga about everything, huh? Wasn't Erin (the reviewer of shelf life) doing a project about that? I think she wrote on twitter that she found knitting manga. Hmm, I wonder what sports or hobbies *don't* have a manga? Bobsledding? Making leather goods? Does McDonald's have manga-based ads in Japan? Inquiring minds want to know! Very Happy
