Booooo. Even though I own all the DBZ box set's does not mean I wouldn't want to watch my favorite episodes online. But such is how life works here in Canada; we miss out on lots of good stuff.

Well that's BS. Why can't use their in-house player? or Youtube? Rolling Eyes

Apparently there's no regular update schedule for the streaming, either. They didn't put new episodes this week.

I blame YTV for this. Smile

I suspect it has to do with costs. For a show old as this there can't be a really high number of viewers, and it would be even smaller for Canada. And they might get 100 downloads a week, out of which maybe only two or three would buy the boxed sets.

And it doesn't help that they're using Hulu.

I hate Hulu. Hate it. Hate it. Hate it. All of the Anime companies hold North American rights, but Canada and Mexico are completely ignored. Confused

Why can't they just use Youtube, or even better, their own players? FUNimation has their own player on their site, though they frustratingly like to switch between using it and Hulu, so sometimes I can watch Anime on their site, and sometimes I can't.

In a e-mail Hulu replied to me it doesn't want to do business with Canada because our rate for advertisement online is not what they want. >.<

Screw them, there is always other avenues Razz

If such a service is as deplorable as you suggest, perhaps there is merit to the wide-reaching restrictions to its availability.
