Yay for Chica Umino's March comes in like a lion and Kaoru Mori's The Bride's Stories! I am a big fan of Chica Umino so hopfully her work gets the award. I also hope it gets licensed.

I liked the brides stories but the premise did make me feel uncomfortable :/

That's a nice line-up. Glad to see another work by Kaoru Mori. Her work is really gorgeous stuff. Looking for a release here.

(What is Drifters about?)
I've been very intrigued by I Am a Hero for awhile now. The premise, the art...even the name piques my interest! I truly hope it's licensed... Anyone know anything about Sayonara mo Iwazu ni? Last edited by RestLessone on Mon Jan 17, 2011 12:57 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I read one random chapter of Shingeki (only knowledge I had was the premise) and I was drawn in instantly. That shows how well the comic is written.

I really, really hope these titles get official entries in the ANN encyclopedia (completely with summaries) 'cause I'd absolutely love to learn about them.
If they're good enough to stand out to the Taishou Awards nominee selectors I'd like to know what they have to offer. Of the titles only maybe 1 do I recognize, and that's in name only (March Lion, that is), but I adore what little of Setona Mizushiro's work that I've come across, so if the others on this list are likewise break-from-the-mold types I'd certainly be thrilled to read their stuff. |
