Oh god this looks so awesome I have never heard of it. The fact of who the creator is and the studio is an instant EPIC WIN!

I can guarantee you that if you like Zetsubo, you WILL LOVE Katteni Kaizo.. Hopefully this will make KODANSHA USA pick the tittle, its VERY UNLIKELY since the humor is even weirder that the one in Zetsubo, lots of Japanese jokes (Even famous japanese artist from around 10 years ago when the manga was being serialized, heck.. it has jokes about even other mangas and games from around 10 years ago)

I doubt that Kodansha USA will pick this up since it's published by Shogakukan. If any US publisher picks this up, it'll most probably be VIZ I guess.
Well, I'm not too enthusiastic about this. It doesn't feel right to me, mostly because of the development of the series. It'll be very hard for the studio to pick the right chapters and stuff.

I hope the anime will be great, because manga was really fantastic! Though manga`s jokes are often rather erm... wild (=

Marga: Exactly that joke-thing is what changes later in the Manga. I hope they'll make the right choices for the chapters they animate.

I remember that they were in talks to turn this into an anime years ago. The deal went under and the manga ended. Kaizo went on to make Zetsubou Sensei after that. I forgot all the details.

Ugh, am i the only one seriously tired from the infamous SHAFT-style?
I'd rather see any other studio doing this.

Wow, another work by Kumeta. Doesn't anyone know if Zetsubo Sensei's run is finished?
I know that MB is supposed to getting the anime out which is on TBA, but I wonder what the hold up is. Are they planning on releasing season one or are they thinking of releasing the rest of the show. If they are I'm all for getting it.
What is the SHAFT-style that is being spoken of?
