I think this accurately explains how everyone over the age of sixteen feels about Christmas right now. Great Comic Laughing

I was expecting a Christmas temed comic Anime hyper Entertaining, the mall nearest to me has a similar decor. . . with many more stuffed animals. I love the fish eyes Nina gets, very Yotsuba&! styled.

I was expecting a follow-up to the "Kevin applies for a job" arc, but this one's last panel makes it a very welcome surprise. Hilarious without trying to overreach.

I don't know where else to ask-- why wasn't there a holiday logo contest this year? I've been checking for it, and it's too late now... Does anyone know why?

Like a Salmon returning home. All Elves must come to Santa's aid. It's like a primordial urge or some junk.

Can I get an explanation...even though I'm pretty sure I'm over 16.

Thank you so much for saying this! The strip just made WAY more sense to me now. Elf = Nina = Santa's Elves recruit. Wink

Christmas lost it's meaning to me when I worked retail.

Ugh, it's like the holidays bring out the worst in people.

I'm disappointed that Paola, Kevin, and Nina physically went to the mall to buy gifts.

Who does that in 2010?
...besides terrified old people and Justin.

I wish there were a special edition of ANN where the three are standing in the checkout lane while a little old lady is dishing out pennies to finalize her bill...

...to which she exclaims "Oh my! I forgot the pudding! BRB!"

I can't recall the last mall I entered in the mortal world. Really.

Nina's predicament is being felt by me as I continually think of how in the world I ended up being in 15 different places on the 25th of December.
