I get a messege that says:
SECURITY ERROR: Failed to load XML 'http://app.scanscout.com/ssframework/adStreamJSController.xml?a=getadscheduleforcontent&format=vast2.0&fetchads=preroll&ss_partnerId=57392&ss_mediaId=384&ss_mediaTitle=Claymore&ss_mediaDescription=Claymore&ss_mediaCategories=entertainment,culture&ss_mediaKeywords=monsters,superpowers&ss_pageURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.animenewsnetwork.com%2Fvideo%2F384%2F&ss_streamPageURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.animenewsnetwork.com%2Fvideo%2F384%2F&ss_width=480&ss_height=360&ss_asVersion=3&ss_maxPrerollDuration=60&jsa=Y Is that the bug you guys are still working on? I get that when I try to play the Claymore Trailer. That doesn't play, but I was able to get a few others to play even though I still get that messege. |

Nope, that would be the network connectivity error we're working to resolve. Don't think we'll get much success on that till at least tomorrow morning.
Looks like the Claymore trailer had a failed upload. Try it now. EDIT: Also, ad blocking software will cause that error too. We recommend disabling it on ANN. We try to keep the ads as uninvasive as possible so hopefully you won't need it here anyway (though sometimes, when ads come from places other than us, they do slip through, in which case please tell us.) |

I just tried watching episode 2 of Area 88 subbed and it played the subs from episode 1. Just thought you'd like to know.

I got your PM but the website won't let me send a reply. It says something like "Failed sending Email :: PHP ::" If it actually went through I appoligize for the tripple PMs.
With the Ad Blocker removed it gets rid of most playback trouble. I did some clicking around, and videos using the ANN player, Youtube player, and Hulu Player all work. However, the Crunchyroll player has been giving me a ton of trouble for the past 2 weeks or so. It streams super slow and offen just freezes. It's made anything on CR pretty much unwatchable. Before that time it was fine. This problem exists both on the CR vids hosted here and on their main website. I can play all other streaming media on other websites and that weird problem persists whether or not the Ad blocker is on and isn't exclusive to just Firefox either. It shouldn't happening since my connection speed is broadband and blazing fast. |

Welp, I can't do much about the Crunchyroll issues, so you'd probably better contact them.
Glad disabling the ad blocker helped. AdBlock Plus works by intercepting all communication with known ad servers, but anytime you screw with something as complicated as video ad trafficking, you're bound to break something. BTW, Area88 Ep2 is fixed. Sorry about that. |

You are the awesome, Justin. You've clearly done a tremendous amount of work here lately as you super-size the video end of this site. All kudos to you and ANN. And, yes, I'd like fries with that. =) |
