This is fantastic news, although I'm not sure I could get to Glasgow and back from the East Midlands. Still, I've been dying to see it for years, ever since I first saw 1.01. Does anyone know if this will be the Japanese version with subtitles, or have FUNimation already finished a dub?
EDIT: Ah, it's a five hour train journey that would cost about £100. Never mind, I'll keep waiting. Let's hope they do a showing in London at some point. |

I too am interested to know whether it will be subbed or dubbed. I'm imagine the former, though. |

Shame it's a bit far.. Swansea I could make but no Glasgow.
Shouldn't that read "..and co-author of The Anime Encyclopedia"? |

Likely subbed, like the previous Rebuild 1.0 screenings in the UK (and using the official Gainax subs, not the Funimation subs). Besides, Funimation haven't even announced 2.0 yet.

I'm really confused because I checked the website to see how much the tickets were and to see what other movies they have line up but the website tells me that the festival starts on the 18th-28th Feb 2010? Have I got the wrong website "http://www.glasgowfilmfestival.org.uk/" they have studio lastest movie 'Ponyo' picture up on the site so I figured that I was on the right site. Its just the dates the date doesn't match up, I really want to go and watch Evangelion 2.0.
