It's a pretty cool website for such a mature title. It's one of those shows that I thought "it'll never make it over here", and I was pleasantly proven wrong. I'll definitely be picking this one up.

It's odd that you would doubt this show getting licensed. It's more surprising when shows like Hidamari Sketch or Koi Kaze make it over here. (Here's hoping for the KissXsis OAV and TV)

The website looks nice. Hope a lot people check out this worthy anime.

Kiss x Sis would be pushing it. It's near the line of Kodomo no Jikan at some points.

As for the website....why the heck is it 18+? The show may have some implicit sex but non-explicit shouldn't make it 18+ <_<
Not to mention that if retail stores sell this in the 18+ section, some people are going to give awkward stares..........

It should unquestionable be rated 18+. It's very graphic with lots of gore and blood. The first thing you see on the website is a picture of a bondaged women with several different weapons thrusted into all parts of her body.

Not surprising since their other "lighter" stuff lately is still rated 18+. However it isn't going into the adult section to my knowledge. Seems like the trend in the US unfortunately. Can you believe that even Nana is rated 18+ ! Confused The dvds have 3 big warning labels on them Rolling Eyes (maybe from the DBZ fiasco?)

well Naruto and Bleach also have scenes with lots of blood, very explicit impailments and violence and those aren't 18+. (and that intro graphic is very tame, almost comical in gothic sense)

Having only been able to get through half of the first episode of Rin, I can agree with that it definitely deserves the 18+ rating. Granted, I'm over 18, but stuff like that just sickens me.

I hope I can make this one too but I doubt it. They'd better put it on YouTube again. >.<

There's explicit sex if I remember right.

There was a whole sub-plot where a character spoiler[prostitutes herself for information, leading to lesbian sex scenes.] I forget how explicit it was, but it was at least close. Plus, there's a lot of implied rape which even when implied, doesn't resonate well with anybody.

The RIN site was announced a nearly a fortnight ago on Twitter and at the time I could access it but now the age verification is working I can't - I get redirected to http://www.navarre.com/funimation/ like happens with a bunch of other random FUNimation sites.

A lot of the sexual content was shown, it just wasn't shown graphically. (I consider "implied" to mean "off screen". While certain bits weren't visible, all of the sexual content was certainly on screen.)

If I recall, there's a lesbian orgy in either episode 5 or 6...

Plus, the violence is extremely graphic and disturbing. Makes the Saw franchise look like Hello Kitty.

So, yeah, it's very much an 18+ title. It's not necessarily pornographic, but it is deserving of an 18+.

The problem with rating it as only for 18+ makes it look like an X-rated title, which it obviously isn't, much like how other titles rated 18+ aren't either (Strike Witches, NANA, etc). If anything, it's equivalent to an mpaa R-rated movie: in other words, discretion advised and guardian approval, etc. And I disagree about the explicit nature of the sex: none of the sex is explicit in showing actual intercourse. If it were, it would also be rated 18+ in Japan, which it is not.

There's way more than that came from in the trailer, which was awesome by the way.

Unholy_Nny, you gave away a bit too much, but at least I'm a bit more excited for the series.

"R" rated movies work the same as 18+ (or MA in video games)

If you're under 18 then you need someone over 18 to buy it for you (or find a store/theatre that really doesn't care for those restrictions)
