Oh, nice catch with Hidamari Sketch.
Didn't think we'd ever see that on R1.
Guess it gives hope for other similiar series.
I like what Sentai are doing, but they really need to take care with the quality of their releases. Some have had poor DVD authoring and others lots of QC problems with the actual subtitles, which is HUGE when the releases are sub-only.

Good for them. I know most people will be excited about Hidamari.

Ok, I now officially love neo-ADV.

And based on their previous releases, I feel we'll get the 2nd season of Hidamari Sketch within a reasonable amount of time. Something I really appreciate, compared to how Funimation just lets 2nd seasons languish.

It was just yesterday that I was thinking, "It sure has been a long time since a SHAFT title was licensed...that kind of sucks, since SHAFT is so awesome." So this is especially good news.

I do kind of have a pet peeve, though, of anime licensors not using the English titles that manga companies have already established (Black God/Kurokami, Sunshine Sketch/Hidamari Sketch). It just makes things unnecessarily confusing.

Ooo ... Glass Mask. Very nice. Been wanting to check that series out, but I don't like to watch anime streaming. Now I'll be able to watch it on my television instead. Smile

Say what you want about Section 23 but at least their stuff comes out on time. *looks at revised release dates for Bandai titles* And they keep announcing more titles. Cool, good for them, good for us.

I just received Blue Drop and You're Under Arrest Season 2 this afternoon from Right Stuf. Kinda timely with more tempting titles being announced today.

I'll continue hoping for Minami-ke and Nodame Cantabile then.

This is good for the Hidamari Sketch fans.

Neo-ADV gets an indifferent stare out of me Rolling Eyes ,another batch of titles that I don't appreciate in the least, at least Switchblade continues to release more J-exploitation movies. Twisted Evil

I thought FUNimation would get Glass Mask! At least it's finally licensed, though.

[EDIT: No soapboxing.]

At least The Company Formerly Known as ADV seems to be releasing stuff on time, though.

Ooh, am I correct in thinking this is the first Angelique adaptation to make it over here?

Nice, I was thinking about watching Hidamari Sketch to, so now that it's getting a release here I can buy it if I like the series.

I'm not familiar with any of these shows, but I'm super-glad that Sentai is licensing and announcing stuff so fast. I'm not too hung-up about no dubbing; I imagine they will probably eventually get back into the dubbing business. I guess it's just not feasible for them at the moment.

Technically, Neo Angelique Abyss has been available for legal streaming on CR (http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/Neo_Angelique_Abyss).

But in terms of a physical product, maybe.

Glass Mask is from CrunchyRoll too, so maybe Sentai is specifically going for licenses of CR shows? I would like to think so, as it would mean there's a greater chance of Saki getting on R1 DVD soon...

Yeah, I think they will get back into it sometime as well. It's just going to be a long while before they can.

Heck, even Hyakko's on CR you know. I bet a lot of people would like to see that on DVD (it's hilarious).

So is Hidamari Sketch... It seems people forgot that was on Crunchyroll...

That's Sketchbook Full Colors, not Hidamari. (Yes, very easy to make mistake.)
