So per-screen dropoff rates were 32.3% for weekend 2, 18% for weekend 3, 31.5% for weekend 4, and now 24.2%. Not bad.

It draws attention to Ponyo and might encourage anime fans to watch it before it dies out in theatres.

And how many anime movies are being released nationwide in the U.S. these days? Shouldn't the fandom be informed on how these movies are doing over here?
