Anyone else besides me feel that Naruto is a tad bit overrated?

Considering how many people consider it to be "overrated" (a term that lost its meaning quite a while ago IMHO, along with "jump the shark", "emo", and several others) and make sure to remind the rest of us, nah, it balances out.

Don't even try to open that can of worms. I think it's good that any manga is doing that well.

Though 143 isn't that great of a place to be in, considering that it had to rise from 393 the previous week. Hopefully it can rise next week, but it could also fall at the same time. We'll see.

Overrated is an understatement.

Not really. Seeing as how seemingly every series that's popular is tagged with that word, especially in Naruto's case where everybody feels the need to announce that "the Emperor has no clothes", so to speak. It doesn't really feel that way anymore.
I believe it's more appropriate to call the term "overrated" to be overrated.

Go, Naruto!
Volume 43 was one of the best pieces of literature I've ever read, and I'd love for everyone to get the chance to be moved by it as I was.

Exactly. Besides, Naruto deserves it.

Well said, dear. Well said.
I think, no matter what side of the spectrum your opinions reside regarding Naruto, it's safe to say "there are definite positives" and "there are definite negatives" about it as a whole.
But you're absolutely right. No matter what series is showcased, positive exposure for manga is just that: a positive - repeat, good - thing for fans.
