Yay. I'm so excited to see this. Already been there with the Live Action series, but I'm sure this will be just as fun.

i really enjoyed the live action series. to be honest, i've only seen the first few episodes of the anime series. i stopped because i already knew the storyline up until the Paris arc. i've yet to finish the live action Specials so...we'll see how much further the second anime season will go beyond the Specials still, i love the story.

Neat! It looks as though even with a new director, they're keeping the same general style as the first series.
How closely do the LA Europe Specials follow the manga? I know the series sort of squished various parts together (for necessary reasons given the hour-long format), but did they take too many liberties with it? I liked it, regardless.

oh, it was definitely squished from what i've seen and read -- which isn't much ^^;; i'm a bit ahead in the manga since i still haven't finished the live action specials -- which i should!

I was just thinking about this series while I was in Paris at the beginning of August, and having been there makes me even more excited than I already was when the announcement was first posted. I can't stop finding more reasons to love this series!

i was actually in europe about a month before they starting filming there ^^;; it would've been awesome if i was in paris on the same day they did some of the filming.

I watched the promo vid on the site, and i liked the little "Je T'aime Nodame" logo with the mongoose below the links on the right-hand side column.
