Reading the premise of Sword of the Demon Hunter makes me think "Blade of the Immortal meets Highlanders".

I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! is actually pretty great and I'd rather watch it than go outside and get stabbed again.

Tbate is not only mushoku tensei without the creepiness.
It is Mushoku tensei without the character flaws. It's an edgy teenagers version of it. Ofc Arthur is not creepy when he is young , he does not even know the concept of sex blushing at the thought of a kiss. Ofc he is not a lame mage, he is a cool mage who is a strong swordsman.
Thankfully, it's so cool that it starts doing its own thing once it gets to the magic school arc,. son of you watched the first two seasons of mushoku tensei, you already watched t bate, but don't have to worry about tbate spoiling what happens after.
Now about evil lord, it's a very fun comedy , not unlike eminen e in the shadows or overlord, if anything Liam is way more benevolent and well adjusted than those two guys.infond it weird that the reviewers complain about the backstory being dialed up to eleven, even the guide/gos acknowledges that it's a pretty vanilla/common thing for that type of event.
Too bad the three episode release was not enough to do a full arc, but at least it accomplishes showing most of what it will be like.

I'm the Evil lord of an Intergalactic Empire!: I thought i was watching Tsuma Netori by Studio Teatro with that NTR story, but overall the production values are mediocre at best.
The unaware atelier Master: There were some cool shots with the beast fight, the production values are a bit better than "I'm the Evil lord of an Intergalactic Empire!", so no much hope.
Sword of the demon hunter: very inconsistent production values, some backgrounds and some animation cuts looked fine, but this is a Yokohama Animation Lab's production plus looks like this is gonna be 24 episodes with no breaks, and this was already delayed for a year, so yeah.

I'm finishing up Blade of the Immortal, and this caught my eye for the same reason.

I Craft Everything looks like it might be this season's comfort food for me. Instead of Noor's amiable St. Bernard, it's got Kurt's floofy Pomeranian. I didn't realize he was supposed to be 15, but to me if that's considered old enough to risk his life adventuring, seems old enough for sex work if he wanted to. Since she didn't actively try to steer him toward that, and he wouldn't have opted for it anyway, it didn't bother me. I do hope they won't take this in the thirsty harem direction the way Middle Aged Shopper shit the bed in its last few episodes and make me eat my words, though I'm just not getting that vibe yet.
About the only issue I had with Sword of the Strange Ones was having trouble sorting out the time skips, which varied from hours to years with no warning. I also wanted to know what became of the shrine maiden and her sentinel during the time skip where Jinta grew up. They were just...gone, Shirayuki and Jinta had replaced them, and no one said a word about what happened to them. At any rate, I'll be watching this one for sure.
Didn't make it through the first episode of Galaxy Quest for Revenge, since the reincarnated version was utterly insufferable. Sounds like I maid the right choice...

I’m mostly waiting on any news about Princession Orchestra. I really hope it gets licensed; it’s the new title I’m the most excited for.

There actually was a couple of lines of dialogue. There was a demon attack and the shrine maiden was killed and her sentinel died in the process of fighting and killing the demon.

Explaining why your mc is an evil a-hole I understand, but the start of I'm the Evil Lord went way too far. I need some space action in my life right now though so I will keep watching despite finding the show nothing more than okayish.
The Unaware Atelier Master is some decent comfort food. I can enjoy a mc who does not know how crazy op he is. It helps that said mc is a pleasant character and that he is a crafter and not a fighter.
Sword of the Demon Hunter had a decent start though the episode left me with a lot of questions. Given the premise I assume that a lot of those will be slowly answered/shown. It might be very interesting to see the mc stay the same while the world around him keeps changing.

Man just reading the summaries of these without even getting into the review part really does seem the well has run dry on isekai. Like, I'm not even as down on it as a lot of people are but so many of these just seem like they've already been done. Then again, I guess I can't even think of a way to do isekai at this point that hasn't been done, so I guess we all just have to cross our fingers and hope that writers are finding ways to beat the dead horse... better?

There are still good to great isekai shows coming out that try new things but like with every popular trend (though it has been going on for so long now that trend may not be a good description anymore) it is being done to death and thus you have a lot of mediocre stuff (and some truly horrible ones).

I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!
Yes, it is fun escapist and entertaining trash. And it is in my favorite genre (SciFi).
If you all watched more Forensic Files, 20/20, and Dateline, you wouldn't be surprised about how bad your fellow humans (male or female) can actually be. Evil people actually exist, they exist among us, and they are not some rare thing found deep in the wilds.
Last reviewer was the only one who mentioned the evil entity/god, who harvests human misery, You know the one who causes all this tragedy and misery back in Japan. By not mentioning him, you make it seem that Liam is somewhat at fault in all this.
Yes this is over the top, but it is a fun ride, hopefully the anime adaptation won't be too bad or cut to pieces.

Even sticky exclusively to "person get reincarnated into video game", I think there's plenty of fertile ground left.
I always thought you could make a great comedy about a speed runner being reincarnated into a game he know all the bug/glitch of. Similarly, shangri la start with the fun idea (before awkwardly discarding it) of having a person play terrible/buggy game, that could make for a fun isekai.
You could also try other genre, a civilization/4x isekai could work, with a stronger focus on technology/economy/culture development (just don't turn into a shonen).
Setting could also be varied easily, instead of the same usual European ish medieval fantasy.
And like the bureaucrat villainess, you can simply change the protagonist, instead of the usual potato or edgelord, you can try all kind of different people, some with, gasp, personality!
But ultimately, isekai work because they're ultra safe/bland/generic, its not that the genre can't evolve anymore, its that its popular because it never change. Audience can just go there knowing exactly what they'll get. There's a short interview with (iirc) Anthony Bourdain talking about why he sometime eat at McDonald (or something), and he mention that even though he doesn't really like it, sometime he just want to know exactly what he'll eat, without having to worry if it'll be worth grabbing.
