This actually looks really fun. I haven't played a Sonic racing game since the Wii years, but I'm definitely interested in trying this one. |

I'm just hoping this doesn't suck like Sumo's Team Sonic Racing did.
What a disappointment that was after putting out much better games for the PS3. |

I was hoping for an all star cast with the likes of other SEGA IP appearing in, but boy those stages look dope. Hoping Mario Kart 9 will at least include Kirby because he'd fit the most with its default Mario characters.

I thought Team Racing was great fun and remain sad people trash it because it's not a direct continuation of the (also Sumo developed) All-Stars games. I'm sort of hoping they have a team option as a mode or something in this one - my friends and I already played Mario Kart 8 in unofficial teams against randoms online, so it felt natural. |

Unfortunately, Team Racing didn't have the variety of characters OR tracks. Maybe I just didn't get far enough in, but every track seemed to have the same aesthetic and I just got too bored to keep going; it didn't seem worth it for more of the same. I think the fun of unlocking more characters in the older titles helped, too. |
