Seems interesting. Will give it a gander.

Did the Squid Girl anime cover all the manga stories? Miss my Squid Girl.

Since it was bothersome to dig out the Squid Girl manga tankōbon and anime discs and to re-read/re-watch them, I skimmed Squid Girl-related questions and answers on a Japanese Q&A site.

According to them:

・The final episode of Season 2 is the anime adaptation of a chapter which was included in Volume 10 of the manga.

・There are chapters in Volume 1-10 which were not used for the anime version.

・The episodes in the OVAs include the anime adaptations which are based on chapters that were included in manga tankōbon released after Volume 10.

The publishing firm Akita Shoten has released 22 volumes of the Squid Girl manga tankōbon. So it seems that there are many Squid Girl manga chapters which have been not yet adapted for the anime. Mada anime-ka sarete'nai hanashi wa takusan arunjana-ika?

Thanks for the informative response.

Will see if the new manga will have it's own magic.

I would be happy to have another season of Squid Girl to watch, but have no expectation of it happening.

It's a pleasure.

I have also bought Anbe Masahiro's Atsumare! Fushigi-kenkyūbu manga tankōbon and have read them in the original. Fushigi-kenkyūbu, too, is a pretty good manga.

The title of Anbe Masahiro's new manga 'Akuma de Fukei!' is wordplay which can mean both 'She is a devil and policewoman' and 'She is stubbornly a policewoman.'
