What would be more interesting would be their animation from during WW2 just to see what their brand of propaganda was like, but I'd guess alot of it was destroyed afterwards.

Some examples of Japanese WWII propaganda here, including some for domestic consumption. Most of the surviving examples I've seen over the years are directed towards Australian and British troops and largely consists of messages along the lines of "while you're out here fighting us, some Yank's shagging your wife". Wink

Edit: the link above doesn't work because ANN's software automatically changes the word "j-a-p" to "J-a-p-a-n-e-s-e" so once you click on it, you'll have to edit the URL to get to the right page.

It's case sensitive and ANN's filter capitalises the "J".

So shorten "Japanese" to "j-a-p" (minus the hyphens) and don't forget to change the "J" to a "j".

The pre war films are actually more interesting that the propaganda film and very hard to come by. I'm really happy to see that some that some film have preserved and still intact to presented!

I'm hoping (although this is an almost impossible dream) that they make these available.

These can be imported from Japan, and have English subs:

These shorts should each be listed in the ANN encyclopedia, as well.
