So, uh...is Riko going to wear all the cosplays accurate to the manga? And adapt the measurement scene?

Other way around.

It's cool that Dress-Up Darling gets this.

I'd rather have the second season of the anime that they've been teasing for 2 years, but ok, let's do this instead...

It's entirely different studios, production companies, budgets, and industries in general so live action doesn't have any bearing on the second season of the Anime or vice-versa.

Poor Gojou, they have gone total nerd on him. Only thing missing are the Harry Potter glasses.

One would certainly hope so.

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. Still kind of a bummer, though.

Always thought this series was a natural for a LA adaptation, so I'm a little surprised it took this long to get one.

Funny you mention Harry Potter because Gojo is voiced by Harry Potter's VA, Víctor Ugarte, in the Latin American Spanish dub. Incidentally, I don't know if this live-action adaptation will be broadcasated outside of Japan, but if it does, it would be nice if the dub actors from the anime dubs get the chance to voice their live-action counterparts, here in Latin America Horimiya's live-action adaptation got licensed by Anime Onegai and produced a dub for it and they managed to bring back all of the VAs from the anime. Then there are opposite cases, Kimi ni Todoke live-action got dubbed into LA Spanish before the anime but only Shōta Kazehaya and Sawako's father were dubbed by the same actors, and just a couple of days ago True Beauty's animated adaptation received a dub, but only Lim Ju-Kyung is dubbed by the same VA who dubbed her K-Drama counterpart.
However, Marin Kitagawa's Latin American Spanish VA, Erika Langarica, has had some health issues which affected her vocal chords, but she still wishes to voice Marin.

Great news while we wait for the anime sequel. Still a very popular series.

Natural as long as they age-up the characters to be college students. All the fan service on a 15 year old is just too weird.

Not sure they will do it... You know why? Because they want to sell the manga and they already got anime watchers to buy the manga. Now, they want llive-action watchers to get the manga. It's marketing and how you build an IP. Next time, maybe they will try to do a stage to grab these customers too.

They will do a second season only if they deem it necessary to expend the reach of the IP and if it allows to sell more. All risks/benefits taken in account.

You haven't watched many Japanese live-actions I take it. They don't even care if the actors are underage when it comes to fanservice scenes a lot of the time either. As long as it's not full nudity or anything illegal then it's completely fine.
Anyway they're wearing high school uniforms in the promo so that should indicate they're not in college.
