Imagine pissing away 8 million bucks in this, the gameplay might be pre-alpha or something but it genuinely looks like dogshit, not an ounce of originality to it, and of course all the NFT garbage is surely gonna sink this game pretty quickly. And nothing of value will be lost.

I would be very afraid to showcase a project like this in public. It's in-person, so people might be nice, but...They're gonna see exactly how little hype there is for something like this. The turnout is gonna be low, everyone in the audience is gonna be bored, and if the do a Q&A they're gonna see how little people are or who might actually be against it. I kinda hope someone goes and reports what happens.

It's funny how Code Geass is still fairly popular and everyone is watching the new show while Goro Taniguchi's last couple of works have been largely ignored and I say this as someone who liked Back Arrow and Estab Life.
