Yona of the Dawn only sold 15 million worldwide? I could understand if that number referred solely to sales in Japan, but 15 million worldwide? That seems low compared to 'Kingdom,' which had sold over 100 million copies in Japan by 2023.

Eh? That's it. This is one of the most engaging stories I've read. I'm one of those 15 million but it unequivocally deserves triple digits.

Let's hope the second season increases manga sales, as the Japanese Twitter account is still very active. The fact that the studio is now working on 'YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master' might suggest they're gearing up for 'Yona of the Dawn' Season 2.

The production line that was responsible for Yona's anime back then already has Bleach and assumedly another Osomatsu season to take care off, so unless it's being given to a completely different team, I don't think it will be soon.

You're comparing a fairly popular shoujo series in the biweekly HanaYume with a single anime adaptation years ago to an seriously popular seinen series in Weekly Young Jump with five seasons of anime under its belt and no sign of stopping. Kingdom also has 50% more volumes out.
I love Yona too, but this is not a fair fight. It's like comparing Kingdom to One Piece.

good to see some yona fans on here. I would be pleasantly surprised if this show got more seasons. It's a shame some anime don't have more seasons.

Isn't this number high? Especially since Yona is not that old a series. I did some digging and even Furuba only has 30 mil.
