Just straight out with a new work right after they finished Otome Mob.

Good for them for having something else to go one.

Trapped in a dating sim was actually a fun and entertaining adaptation, more so than i and lot of other people expected and you should check it, if you have not seen it yet.

I guess this probably means that s2 will be the last one with not future seasons as their would be no point in promoting a finished series anymore.

Well if they do it right it should on a rather conclusive ending, LN readers will understand what i mean.

It's is not that dead, Marie's route and that other girls route are still being published, and the manga is ongoing and depending on media sales balance the manga might drive more seasons of anime.

All that is without considering the poor budget of the first season, assign that to the mix, yeah, the anime is done once season 2 finishes.
