I really enjoyed his output, but he deserves a good rest. Hopefully his successor can live up to him.

This was such a shock to see. I appreciate Habumon so much for understanding that older Digimon fans wanted a mature (rated Cero C; 15+) Digimon game and taking a chance on it with the Cyber Sleuth series (while CS is Cero B, Hacker's Memory is Cero C), which it did succeed. A Cero D (17+) Digimon game would never happen due to the brand, so I'm happy for Cero C. Thankfully the next Story game started development back in 2017, so it should still be targeted toward the Cero C audience.

Should be noted: Age rating ≠ Target Audience. CERO is just vastily more stricter than EIRIN and internalized-TV rating systems. A good example of this is Super Mario Odyssey being Rated CERO B, likely due in part of the capture mechanic (since CERO would consider that a societal incorrect act "controlling" NPCs and such), and the chain-chomp lady fight was also likely another contributer (as CERO is stricter on male-on-female violence). Another game, Famicom Detective Club, is also rated CERO C, and that game has full furigana for younger kids to play.

Having said that, Cyber Sleuth, alongside Survive, was aimed older, for sure, but certain games (such as Digimon World: Next 0rder, which curiously the HD versions got a higher age rating) getting a CERO B, is just the result of CERO being stricter about stuff.

The Cyber Sleuth games were amazing and some of my favorites. I hope we can see more games like them in the future. I always appreciated how Digimon grew with it's audience and didn't limit itself to just kids like Pokemon did. I hope that continues even with Kazumasa's departure.

Should be noted: I was originally going to leave a note at the end of my post stating I expect someone (and its usually someone who shows up randomly with an inconsistent post history and they don't even talk about whats in the article because their intent is to nitpick what someone said) to nitpick what I said, but I decided against it since I wanted to see someone do as I expect. And you did as expected. If I have to go into detail regarding every sentence I made, my post was be an essay over 2 pages long. Nobody got time for that. You didn't explain anything new to me and I'm not going into detail to correct what you said and you are not 100% correct. If you know, you know. If you don't know, you don't know. Not my job to spoonfeed others.
