Yakitomato? The guy behind the The Tsundere Girl Gets Less and Less Tsun Everyday? He made this? Color me impressed as to how one of his series got the anime treatment.

Edit: It wasn't him, but he does storyboards for this.

. . . ok, how is she a NEET? She's a Kunoichi. One might argue ok, but maybe she isn't employed? I mean you can still be one even if not employed by someone but, the article itself goes as far as to say she is employed (In her off time hence employed) and she even becomes his bodyguard... thus employed. (I'm willing to bet employed for room and food, not money but that's still her being paid with a home to live in and food) Thus she isn't actually a NEET.

Neet stands for "Not in Education, Employment, or Training." and she already is employed so yeah, I dunno what to say other than and I mean no disrespect when i say this but, if you're going to make click baity titles for your work, at least make it make sense/work, because this is just straight up a lie, she isn't a NEET and am I making too much of this? Prolly. But then again i find it disgusting someone is trying to likely draw in the NEET crowd and others who might be interested by trying to use NEETs as part of their work but turns out she isn't really a NEET and the title and premise is a lie. (I'm not even going to touch on the trying to draw the Otaku crowd with her being an Otaku or the feet lovers crowd with that visual)

People confuse hikikomori with NEETs all the time; I blame Welcome to the NHK for that.

Still, this looks like a neat show, I'll give it a shot when it comes out.

Yeah no sorry, she isn't a Hikikomori either. Thats someone who won't leave their house. (For very valid reasons ofc) Its clear based on what little we were told plus see in the trailer that she does in fact, leave the house and likely often (Plus, can't bodyguard someone if only from their home I should mention)

Then in that case, you're reading into this about as much they aren't being faithful with the definition: a little too much.

Maybe she's "self-employed"?

@DamianSalazar Even if thats the case, its still employment.

@Takkun4343 I mean, if someone went to the store to buy something that was advertised and they found out it wasn't what was advertised, wouldn't that be what i called it? Lies. In this case also click bait. You can't tell me you wouldn't feel lied to if you found yourself in a similar sitch such as my store example. It could be anything, food, toys, games, books, whatever. Imagine going to buy a RPG game that was advertised as one only to find out it wasn't an RPG at all but a FPS. Whats the point of having words, labels and other things that define something if it gets ignored?

Even this very conversation would be utter gibberish and you wouldn't know what I was saying if each of these very words didn't mean what they were meant to mean by the very definition of what each of these words means. Thats why its important for words, labels and so on to stay true to what they're supposed to mean. Again, no disrespect to the author or anyone but, if you're going to make click baity titles for your work, at least make it make sense/work, because this is just straight up a lie.

So deadly ninja girls in skintight outfits are also kind of a mess off hours?

How dare they blatantly lie in the title to try and pander to the vulnerable NEET demographic. I won't stand for this!

Automatic watch. It reminds me of my favorite 2000's h-anime.
