Hard to believe it's been almost a decade since that Kickstarter for the Studio Khara project. I still have my cup.

I recall Anno was also a key-aniamtor on an Anime adaptation of another Manga by his wife.

Yeah, he did key animation and directed the opening and endings for Sugar Sugar Rune.

Apparently this series got a short adaptation in the Japan Animator Expo, also by Khara. I guess it helps when your husband owns a studio.
