They literally put the source for news almost every single time they can, why are you talking like they've been doing this for everything?

The news article is based on an embargoed Japanese press release, which was not made public or put online until 05:00 a.m. EDT — the same time the article was posted. The article could not link to the press release, because the press release was not "live" yet.

A press release is literally the source. They received the information from a press release. That's it.
Do people just not understand what a press release is these days or what...

Having found the series on the web, I would be surprised if they made it into a full length anime. It would be better suited as a 2-3 minute short, IMO.
