No offense to Carlo, but are we ever going to hear someone else's opinion on the series? I mean, 99% of what is Galaxy Angel here is reviewed by Carlo. It's just nice to see someone else review it, like Carl did that one time. I'd want to see more of that.

Who reviews what is determined usually by the critics themselves - they get a big list of available titles, and then they divy them up. Carlo usually claims Galaxy Angel.
To be frank, I don't think Theron would have a particularly different take on the series. But you'll be happy to know we are bringing in new critics, and I'm excited to see the different perspectives they're going to bring to the table here. |

I will say this for the reviewers when it comes to a series like Galaxy Angel. It's either something you can get into or not. I can understand why some reviewers might not choose to review a title like this, because it is just the type of entertainment it falls into.
An analogy for this type of series would be akin to Monty Python Okay, more like Monty Python on speed, crack or perhaps some other narcotic, but still. Some people like it, some don't, and others flat just don't get it. Galaxy Angel is the Anime version of Monty Python. It's meant to be funny and the stories move at warp speed, and are meant and known for the wacky humor. If a reviewer likes or dislikes the series, they can still give an opinion on it, however some one who doesn't get it clearly would not. Hard to review something that doesn't make sense to you. I can see why some titles such as Galaxy Angel are not reviewed by more reviewers because of this. Granted, I could be wrong, but as a fan of the series, I've never thought Carlo was wrong with the reviews thus far. |

People who like it will keep liking it, and people who don't won't change either. A review's not going to change much...take me for example. I loooovvveee my Galaxy Angel (game and manga only - no Anime for me - lack of love comedy)

Technical question: where's the Encyclopedia link? I'm sure this is not the only one.

That's exactly why I love the anime, because it lacks the whole love comedy bit. I like romance, but sometimes I want to see something totally off-the-chain and devoid of love triangles and any kind of coherent story. |
