I gave mixed feelings.
The first season was super rushed, so I suppose this one will be too, thus, we could have had one arc properly animated in 2 seasons or 2 arcs rushed.
Well, at least I can see Mr. Crawly Wawly again.

What do you mean rushed? What 2 arcs did the anime cover? It felt to me like it had a pretty good pace. I can't really figure out how they could have split the story of season 1 in half.

First season was a little weak in the animation department towards the end but I enjoyed the story so glad we getting more.

I did not expect this at all! But I am here for more Red and Rit!
I just hope we get more SoL and romance and less of them trying to shove in ethical issues and an overarching storyline nobody wants to actually properly deal with. That was one of my biggest issues with season one.

That's what I'd say is the unfortunate part about this series (or at least the season).
There wasn't a good amount of time spent on elements the audience is expected to grow emotional investment in (Danan & Teodora, Ruti & Tisse, Gideon & Ruti, Gideon & Yarand). Sure, you get a few scenes here and there, but for the most part, the details of their relationships are implied where they should be shown and you aren't given a very good understanding of how important those dynamics actually are. It's kinda like being shown a scene of two people fighting together and chatting like friends and then running into an arc that expects you to realize they're inseparable long-time lovers.
It's hard to do right because unless you manage to find alternative methods to draw in the audience, you need quite a bit of screentime to get people emotionally invested in the characters and plot, screentime that you don't have because your show is limited to 4 hours (12 episodes, with each being 20 minutes long, technically shorter because of OP/ED).
If there's any fault to be had, it's that the story progression was such that the only good place that a season could settle at was one so far down the storyline that 12 episodes couldn't cover it without coming off as acceptable but oddly lacking.
(Edit: why did I say 6 hours when it's 4, I'm supposed to be good at math...)

A lot was skipped if you read the LN. The anime cut most of the worldbuilding and lore.

Oof. Probably going to waste time on the boring plot and action scenes rather than focusing on the slow life part again.

I think the show was at its best when it was focusing on the romance aspect with light action.
The world-building with the classes and how that defined ones' life and Ruti's storyline was very interesting, yet at the same time the world-building and actual execution of it kind of detracted away from what people were actually watching the show for because they couldn't really commit to it.
And there were also the issue that the protagonists' likeability in their sheer dismissiveness of what was going on in the wider world despite their pedigree might rub some the wrong way (like it did for me) though others might've related to them more because of it.
Also probably the first anime where I've seen the protagonists of an anime break a drug dealer out of prison to make drugs, team-up with him, and then let him go off on his merry way.

Red and Rit were, at worst, one of my favorite anime couples of 2021, so I'd happily watch more. Kinda curious where they story is going to go from where it left off, though.
And I'll disagree that the anime version didn't succeed at getting viewers invested in the characters. As an anime-only viewer, I felt that was accomplished effectively enough.
And yes, some of the world-building may have gotten cut out, but that always happens with anime adaptations of novels. What can be easily conveyed in print form usually cannot be so easily conveyed in animated form without resorting to burdensome infodumping. The important point is whether or not skipping that world-building is detrimental to a viewer's ability to understand the main events.

Kind of surprised it's getting a second season as the way the first ended, was a good ending and didn't need to go on more. Heck, didn't the author say at the end of where that was in the book was for it to end originally, but he decided to keep going.
