Just restarting this thread.

The thing with Japan is that they do have issues when it comes to gender. A fact is that Japan, despite the fact that they have an LGBT community, do not have laws as to protect this community. Having this anime can further help the Japanese society to not just be aware of the different gender identities, but also help the society to be accepting of the LGBT community.

This also piqued my interest as to how they are going to explain gender. Shocked Looks like I'll be tuning on NHK then!
