Yeah, I don't want to be mean but If they're attempting to prove more money means better animation then they did not do a very convincing job IMO

no, they are proving animators can be paid livable wages.

Yeah I have to agree, there's a few nice shots like the music parts at the end but this music video is so static that it fails to make it's point
The cause is good though, I hope they're able to get changes made

Some problems aside, I actually loved it. Has a 90's vibe.
Anyways, a good cause. Hope the aim comes to fruition.

Yes, this.
Like, companies constantly claim that they aren't able to pay animators livable wages because of profit margins or whatnot, but here they're proving that yes, you can, in fact, just pay animators a halfway decent wage flat-out. And people want to pay animators what they're worth, if the crowdfunding campaign is anything to go by.
EDIT: OK, I also want to add that, while animation quality is a tangential (and related) issue, right now, in the anime industry, according to production companies and anime studios, the biggest issue is retention. Because for animators right now, even if anime is their passion, they cannot live off this passion, even while it sometimes requires them to put in more hours than a traditional full-time job. This is why so many people burn-out of the industry, and with older animators retiring more and more, the industry right now is losing a whole lot of talent, even while they're making more anime than ever. The least they can do, if they're not going to slow down production schedules, is to provide the animators at least a livable wage so they don't have to live off cup ramen and candy while they're working themselves to the bone.
