I am surprised the manga announces a new arc this year, considering that the last arc was dragged out for bloody years

So is the Monster Association/Garou arc finally over? That nonsense has been treading water, with nothing happening, for so, so long.

A very well deserved 1 month break. As far as I'm concerned he is the best active manga artist (if not top 3) today.

Good, as much as I felt like the story was nose diving in quality that man can make epic drawings for manga. He needs to rest, spending 6 days a week drawing for 12-16 hours is so unhealthy.

I hope Murata takes the time he needs, especially with the level of art he keeps delivering on.

Also, nice visual with the ladies!

This should bring back the readers who might have dropped OP Man during the long arc (Or should I say saga) that is the Monster association.

Well deserved break. The Garou Saga has been epic and the finale was everything I wanted so I'm excited for the future.

Yes.

I agree the story beats have often been spread thin, but to be fair a lot of things that drag while waiting for chapters would fly past more quickly if binging it after the fact. Sometimes multiple pages are used for a zoom in or zoom out for example — if you didn’t have weeks to wait between sections you could just flip through and appreciate the truly epic visuals.

Murata's talents are being wasted on this garbage.
