Though I have no clue of they have been clued in on the deal, I REALLY hope that Banpresto can use this to finally bring back macross in future super robot ward. Heck, a big reason the older games haven't been remastered is due to macross rights.

I never thought we would live to see the day that Macross Frontier is released in the US. I hope these movies and Plus will eventually be release on BD and this will lead to the Frontier series being released in the US. I do wish these movies were getting a dub though and I hope that will still happen with a BD release.

Wow, I never imagined Macross films getting officially released in the West! I can only imagine how amazing it would be to watch the duology in theaters, especially Wings of Goodybe.

I guess we're still a ways away from anything Macross related getting dubbed.

Same, but hopefully this is the first step to getting a home release Smile

Agree I would definitely like to have Macross back in Super Robot Wars. Hopefully in the next one.

That OVA dub was a really weird case. I don’t see a dub happening here either, but there’s no connection to a clearly unavailable actor.

I have the Japanese BD's as well, and I'm still planning to see them both in the theaters because that's how they were made to be seen. Plus, it'll also show that people do want more Macross in the West and it they do well enough it may even help to bring more of the franchise to others.

Despite the agreement that Big West, Studio Nue, and Harmony Gold reached, I thought nothing was going to come of this seeing how it has been a year. It seemed like only Robotech stuff was going to happen.
