I believe it, I don’t want to believe it but there it is. Joking aside that’s pretty cool fortnite is essentially the smash bros of FPS games so that’s cool if you’re into it.

I'm a bit upset this didn't happen sooner, because if it did, the odds are very good that Batman Fortnite comic would have had Batman fight Naruto instead of Snake-Eyes.

Over the summer they released a few manga starring DC characters including a slice of life with Superman going to various Japanese restaurants. |

They already exist in Boruto if you count that. Even one of Pain's paths had rockets/missiles. I can't really say I like Fortnite, and I'm surprised to see anime crossing over with it of all things. I hope they look better than the Street Fighter models at least. |

I'm not surprised in the least. Fortnite is, IMO, aimed at either kids, or those who just want to chill and mess around. As opposed to something more serious ala Call of Duty for example. They routinely pull in collabs from all sorts of sources. The obvious superhero ones to, League of Legends, comics, and video games. Why not anime? I'm only surprised this didn't happen sooner. Given Naruto's, and now Boruto's, appeal to kids (my brother's kid has played it for years) it honestly seems like a natural collab for an anime title. I'm just surprised they didn't try and hop on the Demon Slayer bandwagon. Maybe it was too expensive. Regardless, the game is silly and not meant to be taken that seriously, and neither should this collab. Even if it is making certain characters far less broody and serious in the process. |

Well in general DC never liked having their licenses cross over with their main comics. Not like Marvel who freely had KISS battle Dr. Doom and Godzilla stomping around Earth 616 during the 70s. So in that context, no. I could definitely see, if DC gives Zero Point the animated movie treatment, them replacing Snake Eyes with either Naruto or another collaborating anime (apparently their most recent poll mentioned numerous characters from My Hero Academia). |
