I loved this manga. What made it interesting was that they used much larger sized (around 10x5in.) paper and was found in the graphic novel section since it was so big.
Fun little story with great characters.

I was wondering if there were more chapters and if they would continue the series in the U.S. since it was favored by critics (the comic/graphic novel folks mostly).

Worst. Casting. EVER.
Yeah, its a little early to judge it, but I'm guessing this is going to suck. J-drama and Kuroda-style storytelling just don't mix.

The series is unfinished, and Kuroda has said he would like to revisit it someday.
But he seems to be quite busy with projects other than manga right now...

Didn't he have a fallout with Shogokukan or something? I mean he did go back to publishing in Afternoon and all. Just a rumor I heard (I'm sure you know much more than I do about these matters).
