Too much good stuff coming out on the same day (given that Haruhi streets the same day), let alone within the same month. Just wish there was a bit more of time between releases for the bank account to recover.

.hack//Roots $60, Karas Vol 2 ($20 rightstuf sale), Black Lagoon - Limited Edition $40, Le Chevalier D'Eon Artbox $40, Trinity Blood LE 6 $35.......after taxes nearly $200  . And that doesn't even include that MoHS super LE box.......

Okay..... Not exactly how I would have put that, but I agree. I wish the month of May would hurry up and get here already. At least Karin isn't being delayed all that long. Only two weeks, while Rozen Maiden is getting delayed more than a month-and-a-half. |

Rozen Maiden is worth the wait, they need to do a good job. Karin I don't know, but people seem to like it a lot, so I will assume the same.
I would rather wait a little longer to get a good job, than one that is rushed or contrived. Least that is what I hope they are doing it for...

While I don't like the idea of both Rozen Maiden and Karin being release on the same day that Melancholy is coming out, I really don't mind the delay. If anything, it just means that I can obtain the two DVDs on the same day instead of buyting them in a three-week timespan. I guess the replicator issues Geneon's been having are more severe than I thought considering all of the delays and cancellations they've been experiencing recently. Or it could be that they opened a new warehouse and are having trouble moving out of the old one. Still, from what I heard these issues shouldn't last too long, maybe around June or so.

My wish actually came true! I just found the listing on Rightstuf.com for Rozen Maiden Vol. 1 with a velveteen Artbox! Just ordered it with the Geneon sale coupon.

Well, that might soften the blow a little bit, though I would like to see what the box looks like before pre-ordering RM. Same deal with Karin Vol. #1. |

I think it's because of all the other shows that are going to be out during that same window. I am glad because Rozen Maiden is one of those that I want to check that out, but might of slip through the shelf had it been with all the other shows mention aboved. |
