So parts of that PV look reallllly great, but some of it looks like jank, not gonna lie. I remain -cautiously- optimistic.

Not that I could ever mind more Yoko Hikasa, but I'm guessing Yuko Saito just wasn't available to reprise Yoh when they have practically everybody else coming back?

More precisely a late 2000s series, but a Soul Eater reboot would be awesome and its kinda similar to Shaman King. I haven't read the manga tho, but the anime was nice so a reboot adapting the whole thing would be a great idea.

The nostalgic joy in me is tremendous. This looks good so far; even if it didn't, I'd watch the ever-lovin' heck out of it. Shaman King was formative, man. I dunno what to realistically hope for for the dub so I'll just wait and see. Again, no matter what I'll be plugged into this anime.

Nice. I wonder how is the first episode gonna be. It seems common in reboots or remakes to introduce old favorite faces sooner.

you must be lying because the animation is fine looks like Hunter X Hunter 2011's animation your letting your hate for a studio effect your judgment. |
Yeah, I'm wondering what is the "some of it" that "looks like jank", because it looked perfectly fine.

Im certain this getting an English dub but I wonder if they can bring back everyone from the 4KIDS version for the jolt of nostalgia minus the censorship and name changes
PS Id like Soul Eater to come back and maybe a final season of School Rumble and Get Backers or a reboot of Nagasarete Airantou or the final arc of Hitman Reborn

I was confused by that myself. I rewatched it a couple of times because heck yeah I'm gonna, and I didn't notice anything that looked 'off.'

Your first post got deleted for insulting me, so it's great that you just made another. I don't know what studio is doing it; I can't recall. I don't base my opinions on an anime by what studio is doing it. That's dumb.
The iconic frame of Yoh holding the grave marker but with weird limb/torso proportions? Jank. Everything else looks great. Shaman King is my favorite series; I'm going to watch this regardless.

More news confirms Takei really got what he wanted.
Quote: | Megumi Hayashibara is once again performing the anime's opening and ending theme songs |
I just want the openings to be remastered versions of Over Soul and Northern Lights.

2021 is the 25th anniversary of the Yugioh manga. A remake of the original series needs to happen that follows the manga correctly. The 1998 anime altered the plot and the 2000 anime continued that process and made it worse. Literally, there's 3 different canon's of the series. 1. Manga (ends at The Dark Side of Dimensions). 2. 1998 anime (starts at chapter 1 then makes changes along the way and ends at the last episode its series, which is chapter 59 in the manga). 3. 2000 anime (condenses 2 earlier arcs in the 1st episode then continues the story from chapter 60 with changes along the way that turns it into its own canon). The true vision of Yugioh! by Kazuki Takahashi needs to be shown. Konami has SEVENS to cater to the kids.
