I didn't even know about this game. Is it going to play like a mystery game and when you find out the name of the person, you write it in the Death Note?

Very interesting. Too bad it'll probably be horrible for importing since it'll most likely be all text, but with any luck they'll release it stateside (assuming it's any good).

There have been a few Japanese animes that had been based on a computer game. They have now reversed it so the Death Note manga, movie and tv anime has created a video game.

How will this work exactly.

I am a fan of the manga and all, but as a game?

I will kill you, no, I will kill you first, no I will kill you before you can kill me, and all your friends. Well I will go incognito and forget everything so you can't do that. Well I will kill you before then. Anime dazed

Death Note is awesome, but I don't see how this could be any more than a straight forward text adventure.

What's the problem with that? Haven't you ever played Phoenix Wright?!

But damn! This game looks sweet! I really hope its released over here, no matter what! But when was it announced? I've never heard of it before...And have there been any other Death Note games released or announced in the past?

mad_hatter_md01, thank you very much for the scans. This game looks insane.

This is the first Death Note game. Most games for series dont normally come out till after an anime has come out.

I would really like to know what the "A" rating stands for in the Japanese game rating system. I have never seen that before. Looks like one of those walk through games, but interesting to say the least.

^ seriously, death note's CERO rating is "A"? well, here are the list of CERO ratings and for what ages:
A - suitable for all ages
B - suitable for ages 12 and above
C - strictly for ages 17 and above
D - strictly for ages 21 and above
it's just the same as ESRB for what i see.
