Death Note volume 9 climbed from #230 to #126

And also this news comes right after news that Death Note (The anime) will be available in a down loadable form. Very interesting, this is the first time that DN has broke into the top 150 right?

I really don't know if it's that though. Its been very popular in fan communities, all the podcasts and forums have people raving over it, so I'd say it's more of a word of mouth than information about the anime now being downloadable.

I'm pretty sure that this is the first time Death Note has been in the top 150.

Yeah, it really seems Death Note is picking up in popularity. Maybe we'll start to see it on Adult Swim by the end of the year? It's not too long for AS, so I really hope so.

According to a news post back in March, volume four charted at 118.

I look forward to seeing how the series sells down the stretch. Are there three or four books left after volume nine?
