I like how Mankaga of violent works, have brightly coloured light hearted titles as their favourite works of media.

Torture is such a great manga and I feel like people are sleeping on it because the premise sounds extremely dark. But the whole joke is that the Princess never actually gets tortured, the demon army is full of characters who act like they're evil but are too nice to actually do anything bad, and the "torture" is just them offering the princess different tasty foods or games to play in exchange for (usually worthless) secret information. It's basically a humorous cooking/slice-of-life manga with a weird twist. Really good stuff.

The manga is really good. Sometimes you feel it's getting repetitive, but then they mix stuff up by having the camping trip or the school festival, and the evil characters get fleshed out a tiny bit so they become even more endearing.
The chapter where the Demon Lord and MaoMao make a village out of paper is such a sweet story.

This manga sounds a lot less terrifying than its title suggests, and actually seems to subvert expectations in a good way unlike other expectation subverting I've seen, might check it out probably.

Judging by the comments and the premise I'm sure it's harmless enough, but I can't help but wonder What Is The Hecking Point in putting a cutesy veneer on something that would otherwise be ultra sketchy.
