The presale tix for DeG in Toronto sold out in under 3 min X__X i got 3 though!!
I flew all the way from the east side of Canada to the west side of the US to see Hyde. i ended up skipping my prom =P i'm a little fangirlish crazy ^^ but it was soooo worth it the several times i saw him. Dir En Grey is playing in Toronto which is about an hour's drive away from here. YESSSS, no flying!! though i don't think i would have flown out for them or anything ;>__> i'm glad to know more and more popular Japanese bands are coming over to North America for concerts. The best thing though is they're at smaller venues, so t's more of a better experience ^__^ |

Yeah! I know what you mean! Although it would be cool that they play at big stadiums, small venues are so intimate. I mean, I was four rows away from HYDE, and in a statium i probaby would be faaarr away and barely be able to see him. But i'm glad that japanese music is becoming more popular in America and that they're touring in america now <3 |

Not really sure how this is anime-related since the only anime theme Diru did is virtually unknown, but I'm glad for it anyway. xD Got my presale tickets for Houston and am psyched. :]
PS - Presale started Monday, the offical sale date is Thursday, yeah. |

They must have had a good time touring with Korn since they are already coming back for more.
I was going to go see them with my friend last year, but my friend had to back out, maybe we can go together this year... I think they are the few Japanese bands that has done tours independent of being with/at a con. Most of the other bands that I'm aware of either are part of a con package, or do a two or three day concert in one location, and it's often scheduled the same weekend as a con in the area, so even if they aren't a part of the con, con goers are likely the only people who know and go see them. So the fact that Diru is touring like this shows to me that they are doing really well. (Specially if tickets are already sold out for some of the shows!) There are American bands/artists that don't even do 16 cities on a tour. |

Doing a headlining tour in 16 cities at respectable venues isn't doing well?
