So basically Mario is still the king of Nintendo.

Thats pretty far from the 20 million and even 18 million predicted. Looks like switch is underperforming as expected.

The lack of good games is hurting it immensely.

That's kind of pushing it on the "hurting" part.

I'd also add that NS does need some more classic revivals that I think would work perfect for the console. Like, Contra, or Castlevania, or some good games that are digital that could use a physical releases. Nintendo has always been strong in the portable market. For awhile it seemed that the Switch wasn't going to work. People wanted to see what the line-up was, more third party, etc... So far the fact that they made the system work both as a portable AND full console by AV hook-up worked. But now, we're going into the next gen console phase. So what will the new Switch be?

But kudos to the Switch's success.

We will only see the Switch really fly with absurd numbers once the new Pokemon comes by, to be fair it's doing fairly well with only a couple of espectacular exclusives thus far.

Personally, I've played my Switch more than my PS4 over the past year. I think the games are pretty good already.
