I'll be able to see Hikaru no Go from Toonami Jetstream later this year, but I really can't stand the dub...So hopefully they'll also air the sub... Shocked

Subbed anime on TV.. that's definately a step in the right direction! death to crap dubs!!
Are the original OP/ED songs gonna be kept?
I loved every OP song for HnG.. they were (mostly) sang by Dream, wasn't it? Such great songs Very Happy

Agreed! All HnG songs will be kept, no modification to anything beyond using the English titles from the Viz DVD, except moving Go Go Igo! to after the next episode preview (for technical reasons).

Shingu had to have the OP cut down slightly for timing reasons. (NHK shows are 25 1/4 minutes long!) But for that series, the music is a lot less integral to the show.

And of course, if you don't get us yet, bug your cable provider. Very Happy

?? huh ?? Haven't AZN (previously International Channel) and iaTV been broadcasting subbed anime for many years now? i.e. tenchi/lodoss/gravitation/oh!mygodess/etc

imaginasian is NY based, carried on satelite and cable...

Honestly, I get it in CA but it's not that great.
It's only good for the occasional korean/japanese movie/drama.

Can you tell me what we can do to make it better? We're still a new indie network, so we're just getting started.

I would defintly like iaTV filter out the dubbed shows and concentrate on subtitled content only. I find most dubs of anything to be a poor representation of the content.

Although i must admit, altenating between subbed and dubbed with shows like Hikaru no Go is a clever idea which will appeal to everyone.

Lastly, i'd like to see some older shows being aired as well - dramas, movies, anime - you can't beat the classics.

I like the alternation between your sub content and dub, for I only watch dub shows for TV since I can't stop subtitles if I miss anything. It will keep both sub fans and dub fans happy, so I wouldn't want you guys to just keep sub shows.
