Goodbye Funimation dub for Toriko, I suppose.

Honestly, Funimation‘s dub made Toriko seem like it was made even more for kids. Remember all those food puns? Confused

Maybe I'll finally pick up their Mazinger Z release now that I know they will eventually put out the "second half" of the story.

While the chances of it happening are unlikely, maybe Discotek could work where at least the dub cast records the film and Discotek releases it.

On Discotek's FB announcement about "Tenjho Tenge", a person asks about the "Cyborg 009" release date". Someone responds with "That one’s gonna be a while. Lots of master tape issues with that show." Who said that? None other than the current Answerman, Justin Sevakis.

Toriko movie 2 - What a waste.....

Gash Bell movies - I'm in, hope they rescue the show for a full sub release whenever Cinedigm's license expires.

Great Mazinger - It has been a long time since that last Mazinger Z set was released here and this announcement happens on the same week the Infinity movie premieres in theaters (or the month before premiere here in the states)? I'll be looking forward to it and if the new movie is the reason why then hopefully there are similar license announcements soon with the new Devilman & Cutie Honey adaptations being a thing now since there are other adaptations on both sides that have yet to get picked up (or rescued in most cases).

Hey, Discotek, while we're on the subject of older franchises that never got complete releases/their movies released in the US by another distributor...Keroro Gunsou/Sgt. Frog? Very Happy

The dub was cancelled years ago.

Most random acquisition ever. Toei must've sold the rights for dirt cheap.
