More Nazi leftovers should get this treatment for the simple reason that it would piss them off terribly to see their bases turn into what they would have termed "degenerative art."

I love it when people always conflate the German army with the Nazis.

Indeed. Technically Nazi means the National Socialist German Workers Party and Nazis were the members of that political party. But now everybody conflates anything German from 1933 to 1945 with Nazis.

Just following orders isn't an excuse. If you serve a genocidal regime, you are complicate with it's crimes on some level and that's all that really needs to be said on the matter.

I'm delighted to see that a World War II gun house was transformed into a beautiful piece of art. Smile Now kids will get to enjoy Shenron's presence while learning some WWII history.

I always like well-done graffiti art. (Except when it's done to stuff that I own. Then it'd better be FANTASTIC graffiti art.) I live in an urban area with a number of well-known graffiti artists, so I would see beautiful, stylish murals here and there. This one is also really nice, and I have to wonder if the artists saw the shape and thought of Shenron.

Well, unless you're not given an option to do something else, as genocidal regimes tend to be. Not sure to what extent it was with the Nazis, but I know this was definitely the case with Boko Haram: If they invaded your village, either you joined them or they'd execute you on the spot. (Though I'm sure there were a good number who would've chosen the execution.)

This is cool. I mean it's a left over relic that no one is trying to save as a historical landmark for historical tourism. So it's up for grabs.

At least the one thing they won't have to worry about is getting in trouble like this

I'll admit it's funny. But guess who has to clean this up?

Stuff like this is always fun. Maybe one day when NK is free, will they mock the past with beautiful paintings? Only time will tell.
