So for the fourth time it's just retelling the first manga without ever adapting the rest of the manga. I doubt DavidPro will actually adapt all 100 volumes of the manga. Even the first manga will probably be rushed.

Why on earth are they remaking this part of the manga for the fourth time and ignoring all of the rest of the story? They could just go forward and adapt the World Youth or really anything that we haven't seen several times already.

Nah, should be Hungry Heart getting the sequel, albeit original route!

I see a role reprisal from Suzumura as Wakabayashi (He was in Road to 2002!)
Its cool to see Tsubasa back, even as yet another reboot. (As a Latin american fan. Most westerners dislike Soccer but in here is another story.)

The last time, that I watched "Captain Tusbasa" on TV was around 20 years ago. So that is a perfect timing to watch the reboot.
I dunno, if a streaming provider will license the newest Anime-Adaption.

Er... Most Westerners? Last time I checked, football was still the most popular sport in Europe.

I did and a million of other fantasy soccer aficionado. I've been waiting for a new Captain Tsubasa for over 15 years.

Because the intent is to re-introduce Captain Tsubasa for a new audience. A proper World Youth adaptation might have made sense 15 years ago, but the time gap is too large. The only thing I hope now is that they do the original manga properly and move on to World Youth and Road to 2002 without cutting them up like they did with the past 2 adaptations.

The most impactful sport Anime ever back!? Well, at least a soccer one and it was pretty darn popular in my country! My only problem is that they are restarting the story YET AGAIN...

I don't know either, but if someone does end up licensing the reboot, it will most likely be Crunchyroll.

And they are also remaking Saint Seiya instead of adapting Next Dimension, but hey, let's hope in both case they adapt everything.
I also wish for an alternate production of Jojo and Tsubasa.

Next DImension's serialization is slower than turtles so better not animating it for now.
