Good. I was beginning to despair that "The Fourth Goddess" arc would never be animated.

Hooray! More Goddess goodness to geek myself out with. Very Happy

Seems like Afternoon manga is doing pretty well with the whole TV-adaptation thing. One season of AMG, then Mushishi, and now another season of AMG!

Good thing, too. Afternoon's got some good manga in it, and anime adaptations usually gives a series a big boost in "licensability".

Well, I hope it is better than the first series. There were good things in the first series, but some bad things too.

You can pretty much expect a second seaons. Now I wonder if they'll keep the series on the air until the manga ends?

I could almost see this series going on for a long time. Like some of the older dramas. After all 'AMG' is a big time fan favorite. Smile

Considering the manga is produced at the rate of one chapter per month, it wouldn't take to many series/seasons to completely catch up with the manga.

I can only hope that if and when they dub Peorth in the US, they have the intelligence to give her the French accent she has in the manga. That was the only irritating item in the movie. There she sounded like an old woman from Anytown, USA. Rolling Eyes

I'm kinda hoping for 4 or 5 seasons. Hopefully they will put it on earlier in the evening so more people can watch it in Japan (better rating = more episodes). As for the manga it up to probably 210 chapters. They skipped some stuff so far, but there is plenty of stories for 100+ episodes. I'm kinda hoping for 200 myself.

Does that mean the show gets bogged down with yet another side character?

Of course not. Peorth is one of the main characters. Her relationship with Urd in the later chapters of the manga is interesting. Of course, I want more episodes about Megumi.

More Sora!

....Anyway as long as they don't do a live action version. YUA was OK, but I don't think OMG would survive a live action adaption.

True. But one thing I'll say is that 'Fujishima-san' picked the best guy for the job. Wink

But we'll see. It would be interesting to see.
