Neato. I am not ashamed, as a 23 year old man, to admit I enjoyed the first two series. Looking forward to this.

By the way, is the damn show licensed yet? Very Happy

Unfortunetely, no. Doesn't companies know they can bait fanboys by saying this series has lesbian Catholic schoolgirls! Laughing

Let me remind you that Mari-mite is not a yuri show. As much as most people would enjoy it. And saying that an american company wouldn't license it because of that is wrong. Considering that Kannazuki no miko and shows of the opposite nature, such as Sukisyo, loveless, and gravitation have been licensed.

Exactly. If Marimite was really about lesbians instead of being a beautiful series about relationship, I would already has been licenced months ago.

Fantastic. I was beginning to feel a little shaky without my Marimite fix; somehow the manga's not really good enough.

Yay for possibly-lesbian angst!

Here's hoping this OVA will be of an actual, acceptable length, unlike that Banner of the Stars OVA that came out earlier this year. Got us all hyped up for what? Two episodes? I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt completely ripped off.

Six episodes minimum, or I'll feel utterly ripped off here, as well. Sad

Banner III was only 2 episodes long, but as they were excellent (production, quality, kawai denka even more kawai than before, the story didn't felt too rushed) I know that, personnaly, I didn't felt ripped off at all. Very Happy

We'll find out what's happening in Jan 2006, when they make an announcement in Cobalt magazine (Feb issue).

There's also new novels, and other, non-specified stuff being released later in 2006 Very Happy

On the 22nd dec, there's a preview of the OVA being released on this site: http://www.animate.tv/.

JBV^_^

PS, I'm 41 and a major Marimite fan.

Just noticed this on the front page:-
Quote:

You have forgotten that none of these has associated itself with a religion not very friendly with homosexuality, um, at least in public. Cool

I was intregued that the premise of this title was a Catholic School in Tokyo, let alone an all girls one, as I wasn't sure such a place existed. But when I Dogpiled it sure enough this one appeared in the list. Mind you it seems to cater more to foreign students, or students of foreign families stationed in Toyko as English is their first language, and Japanese is listed as a "foreign" language, Laughing but there it is. I wonder if they are aware of this production, and what their uniform looks like? Wink
