ANN might also want to report:

http://www.hack.channel.or.jp/topi/1021_topi.html

Basically a .hack//G.U. manga inside the magazine among other things.

Opening feature:
It's finally here! The cast for the 8 main characters is announced, and they get interviewed! Get to know the cast behind the new story.

Manga:
A new .hack legend, with art by Yuzuka Morita and story by Tatsuya Hamazaki (Legend of the Twilight). The first issue of G.U. is a HUGE 68 pages! You can read all about Haseo's adventures! (Note: The Manga is inside the magazine, it's not standalone.)

Readers' Corner:
We're looking for any thoughts, questions, or fanart you have for .hack and G.U.! The hosts of the readers' corner will be those same two as before...!

".hack//G.U. The World" goes on sale November 26th in Japan.

I'm really hoping this isn't going to be 100 minutes of panning on characters faces and Kaijura (sp) music.

I've seen two of them, and the first one definitely seems to have scenes from the anime. Since I don't know any Japanese, I can't say much about them, but they're really good samplers of Yuki Kajiura's .hack//Sign soundtrack(s). Anime smile + sweatdrop

There's only so many faux-chanting, faux violin techno-crap that I can take, and secondly, not me.
