I'm in! Thanks. I owe you, ANN! And the best part is I don't have to pay for their overpriced tixx.

Has there been an announcement of the official release date for the next wave of titles? I imagine Howl's will be out relatively soon, but is it confirmed that other titles will accompany it?

I don't think it's confirmed yet, but I have heard from Disney fansites that the next wave will be out February 2006, and most likely it will be My Neighbor Totoro, Howl's and possibly Whisper of the Heart.

That's what I found out on Nausicaa.net. The US directors or whatever also alluded to it in an interview. "Spring" Will be the released date. So March-May, somewhere around there.

Jet: I missed the Streamline theatrical release in the early 90's, and only caught it on home video.

Sakura: Free screenings with a Q+A beat dvds anytime. A shame I can't see Miyazaki again, but I'll settle for some Di$ney dubbers.

Oh bugger. At times I wish I was living in the US. That means I might catch Totoro on cinema in ... June? (We're VERY slow to get certain movies here...)

Well, losers can't be choosers.

(My isp is acting up, forgive multiple replies.)

Totoro's going straight-to-video. Di$ney still hasn't given Nausicaa a theatrical release either. -_- But at least they saved it from Warriors of the Wind hell.

Why don'y they do a indie theater release like they did with Spirited Away before it got the oscar? It can't cost that much. Plus, this movie has already been established as a classic.

BTW, nausicaa.net has a report, and some info about future releases.
