YES! I was hoping there would a Lupin anime that takes place in France after the 4th series was absolutely amazing to watch in an Italian setting!

Quickest sequel in the franchise yet. I'd been hoping that the next one wouldn't be set in one country unlike the older series but if there's one country that makes sense it's France.
I do miss the yearly specials though.

I hear this show is a ratings bomb on Toonami right now, I guess people in the west just don't care about Lupin ? getting 0.23 on the 18-49 demos.

Part V, hell yes! I want to applaud man because Part IV was just so freaking good I cannot wait for this. Would be fun to see Lupin in Benelux someday, but that's just me hoping :3

Great news and all but the new season should be a bit shorter than the order IV got. A snappier 3rd act would be nice too and no new waify, ok? The last one had way too much screentime.

The last four or five of them were really quite awful so I find it hard to be sorry they're gone even if enough of the total were decent.

If this turns out to be a co-production like Part IV was, perhaps it could air in France before the rest of the world.

Would love if it were lighthearted and silly like the first three series, but I'm not holding my breath. This looks to be a continuation of the 2015 series in every way.
