The girls who provided this item also sent me a picture and a video from a TV spot about the movie.

They also translated the full Nikkan Sports article:

櫻井翔が美大生になる!初の映画単独主演
Sakurai Sho becomes a college student in his first independently starring movie!

It is understood that on the 24th, Sakurai (23) of the popular group, ARASHI, will be starring in the movie for the first time alone. It is based on cartoonist Chika Umino's popular comic, "Honey and Clover", having the same name as the original, about five men and women's love stories of youth that develop at a college. All five people are dealing with the circumstances of unrequited love, and Sakurai performs as college student, Takemoto Yuuta, who has an awkward social position. The producer explains his appointment of Sho by saying that, "The character is naive and worries, and even looks like him." Even Sakurai is enthusiastic, "We thought that we can create a work where the spirit and pain of gentle love in youth is experienced." Aoi Yuu (20), Iseya Yusuke (29) Kase Ryo (30), and Seki Megumi (19) are to unfold the love pattern with Sakurai. CM director Masahiro Takada (41) picks up the megaphone for the first time. It seems like it will become a refreshing romance movie by a fresh personnel. Opening to the public scheduled for next summer.

Ack! I was about to report it first. Anyway, Yuu Aoi (Hagu) is WAAAAAYYYYYY too tall. 160 cm (5' 3") Hagu-chan?! Not to mention she admits that she has never read HachiKuro manga before landing on this role.

That's no Hagu-chan!

I was actually disapointed that I didn't see any good Hagu cosplayers at Otakon this year, with little round cutouts over the eyes, and a butterbur leaf over her head. Wink

I don't see how they could make a good live action out of this, it's too weird a show.

It's going to be hard for anyone to play as him not sure if his character will translate well from the anime/manga to live action.

Judging by their pictures, I'd have to go with Iseya Yusuke. He looks like a "Morita Type" to me. See for your self: http://www.cinemasie.com/fiche/personne/iseyayusuke/fiche.html

You see? Doesn't look like much of a stretch, eh? Laughing

That would make Mayama Ryo Kase. I could see him as Mayama, also.

This rocker they got for Takemoto... now I'm not quite sure about him. Who knows if he can even act.

I can't find any pictures of Seki Megumi, so I can't really comment on her.

I'm allready excited to see it!
