Hahaha, I guess Media Blasters couldn't find a dub studio with willing guy VAs being quite...um......
They could at least let Headline Sound Studios dub since they dubbed Gravitation (of course I heard that dub was a mess and not one of their best works).

I don't really care for dubs, but doesn't this mean the DVD should be a bit cheaper? Many people buy the DVDs for the dub AND sub.

Yay! I'm not interested in a dub track for this one, anyway. I found the original seiyuu were too fitting for me to want to bother watching a dub. And besides, if this does make the release cheeper, so much the better for my shallow pockets.

It is going to be cheap; I heard the retail price is going to be $19.99.

Yeah, I personally think the Gravitation dub was horrible. x_x;
Oh well, I don't really mind not having a dub track, I usually watch them out of curiosity after I've seen the sub anyway. I'm just glad this will make the price of the DVD cheaper.

Well, wont be getting this now that it doesn't have a dub. Don't really care for reading while I am trying to WATCH something.

They didn't dub Kizuna
Or Level C or Boku no Sexual Harassment.
Mirage of Blaze was dubbed by the west coast guys-Lex Lang, etc.
I guess they figure we're more interested in the action. And no English cast could really touch the Japanese, could it? It's loaded with all the nice-sounding Japanese VA's-Souichiro Hoshi, Takehito Koyasu, Souichiro Hoshi, Hiro Yuuki, Hikaru Midorikawa, Akira Ishida, Jyrouta Kosugi, Yuji Ueda.

or Sentimental Journey, or Seraphim Call. . .I wouldn't mind seeing more sub-only releases from these guys under the CPM umbrella. Something like Air would do well with a cheap, 2-3 disk sub-only release, I think. Hell, after hearing this, I'd almost buy Sukisyo if it weren't shounenai and/or yaoi.

I'm a Sub Fan (Only) anyway. So this is great news for me, as The DVD's will come out sooner. And Probably on Less DVD's, like Sentimental Journey.
Anime Works/Media Blasters do need to work on their subtitles though, they only know how to subtitle on the bottom and no-where else, so some releases suck.

Subs should be on the bottom. It's annoying when they go all over the place.

Can you watch something and eat popcorn at the same time ?
To read subtitles isn't much more difficult...

Unless someone does it in a bilingual format where the English VAs only dub the American characters; dub it similar to the dub in Blood: the Last Vampire.
But we're getting off topic here.

Your letting the concept keep you from actually experiencing it! I used to agree with you, I thought reading subtitles would be terribly distracting, and it was for a while. But when I finally tried subs for a few months, after a while I really did start to forget I was reading them. It became that natural of a process. Just a little perseverance man! Keep trying subs! Otherwise you will miss a lot of great anime (anime that has been given a bad dub, or none at all).
And if I'm not mistaken darkchibi07, Blood: The Last Vampire was not dubbed. Some of it was just in English, but that was the way it was in Japan. I may be wrong though.
